A Moment of Balance: Guided Meditation for Rebalancing from Within


This guided reflection and meditation is designed to accompany your self-massage practice or any quiet moment of rest. As you rest your palms over your abdomen, you’ll be gently guided to reconnect with your breath, soften into your body, and reflect on where balance may be needed — between giving and receiving, doing and being, striving and allowing.

(Designed to be done after a session of your Abdominal Self-Massage. But you can do this after any self-massage for your body for that moment of reconnection)

Some prompts for journalling:

Where in my life do I feel out of balance right now — physically, emotionally, or energetically?

  1. What part of me has been giving too much? What part may need more care or rest?

  2. What would “balance” look or feel like for me today?

  3. What is one small step I can do to reclaim balance in my life starting from today?

  4. How does my body feel after taking this pause — lighter, calmer, warmer?

At the end of our practice, I encourage you to place your hands on your heart or abdomen and say to yourself out loud or in your heart “thank you” — to your body, your breath, and yourself for showing up.
